It came well packaged, but since it was rolled up, it arrived a bit wrinkled, but it only takes a quick stretch to make it completely straight again. There is a plastic piece to protect the adhesive part, and I believe it comes with more small pieces than needed, which is great because they are quite small and easy to lose. I really loved it, it's exactly as I imagined, a very comfortable and interesting hobby.
