The quality is not really however lights up nice

Has a slight chemical smell, but not critical.

Just ok. i ordered two and one arrived with a leak. the lights inside flash red and blue (no other colors). you have to hit the squishy pretty hard to get the light to come on, which is a disaster waiting to happen with how delicate they are. water bead and glitter filling. some stickiness to the casing and a moderate chemical odor. faces will wear off with use. the steamer baskets arrived cracked.
