Out of the four types, the choice was made specifically for this model. Not leather, that's fine. Medium hardness plate inside, easy to bend into the desired shape. They keep the shape. After a long game, it presses slightly on the neck, but not too much. In this case, if the gaitan comes into contact with the skin, marks from the laces may remain as indentations. But it's not critical either.
