Well, it's a piece of acrylic, small and thin, but I think it works. It comes with protective plastics so it doesn't get scratched before being used.

I think it's better to choose the roller that has rings at the ends, as it makes it easier to use.

Very sturdy acrylic roller. I chose the solid version. It does have a few small scratches on the surface, but they are almost unnoticeable unless you really look for them. I am satisfied.
